Acquisition edibo
Willy Naessens Group receives BMA approval to acquire edibo.
Wortegem-Petegem, 5 June 2025 - The Belgian Competition Authority (BMA) granted its approval for the acquisition of edibo by the Willy Naessens Group on 2 June 2025.
This approval marks an important milestone in the further expansion of its position within the Belgian and international industrial construction sector.
The acquisition of edibo - an established player in complex industrial construction with sites in Lommel, Fernelmont, Antwerp and Eindhoven - fits perfectly within our strategy of vertical integration and geographical expansion. With a team of 120 employees and an annual turnover of €75 million, edibo brings with it a wealth of technical expertise and regional coverage.
Dennis Ingelbeen, CEO Family Office Willy Naessens Group, says: ‘The BMA's approval is extremely positive news and allows us to work with edibo to realise an even wider range of construction projects. We look forward to starting the integration and continuing to build a sustainable future together.’
The daily management of edibo and edibosud will remain in the hands of the former shareholders, Danny Ulenaers and Dirk Paerewijck, ensuring continuity and stability.
