Willy Naessens Group strengthens its position as market leader through the acquisition of FB Group - Luxembourg

Its production unit is located in Esch-Sur-Alzette, in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and manufactures 220,000 m² of prestressed concrete slabs and 320,000 m² of reinforced concrete slabs per year. Sales are made from its branch in Nancy, France. The company employs around 90 people and currently operates completely independently.

"This geographical division, with a factory in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and an office in France, is a continuation of the network of efficient factories we already have, with little overlap but a good fit. This collaboration offers new perspectives and possibilities to our team and our customers," says Dirk Deroose, CEO of the Willy Naessens Group.

This acquisition is an implementation of the well-known vertical integration strategy of Willy Naessens. "When you consider that we can currently produce 800,000 m² of prestressed concrete slabs, everyone realises that adding 540,000 m² of extra capacity is a huge step and will only strengthen our position as market leader in precast concrete solutions for industrial applications," continues Deroose.

"Within the Benelux, this is also the first, but certainly not the last plant we want to add to our group outside Belgium," Willy Naessens proudly concludes.
