Project in the spotlights: DKE

In Kluisbergen, Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings successfully realised the new site for DKE.

The building is now fully finished and provides a modern home base for the company's operations.

DKE, in full De Keyser Elektrotechniek nv, has been a leading player in the field of design, installation, maintenance, renewal and repair of electrotechnical installations since 1978. In 2000, the company moved to Kluisbergen, where it is now firmly established. The new site, just two kilometres from its previous location, brings the company closer to its roots.

The impressive new building, with a total surface area of 5,000 m², accommodates the brand-new offices and an efficiently equipped warehouse. Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings took on the development of the wind- and waterproof building, including the floors, terraces and slatted structures that give the building a contemporary look.

A wind and watertight project is also called a Shell & Core building formula. Here, Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings takes care of both the load-bearing structure and the exterior finishing. This includes the roof and joinery.

Architect: AAVO Architects
Total surface area to be developed: 5000 m²
