Project in the spotlight: Belgium Cable Park
If you like adventure, Dock79 is the place to be. This amusement park full of surprises was proudly built by Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings. Willy Naessens Alu was also responsible for the exterior joinery here.
The trampoline park opened in 2020 and is the first indoor activity in Dock79. Here you can enjoy 1,000 m² of trampolines. As this building is located next to the lake, it was built on piles to guarantee stability. Green sandwich panels were chosen to reinforce the natural framework.
The building also houses a restaurant with a large terrace and stunning views of the lake. Here you can also water-ski, jump and slide on XXL obstacles in the aqua park or climb among the trees in the "My Little Forest" course.
Due to the difficult access between the trees, a steel structure was chosen instead of long concrete trusses. The strength of the Willy Naessens Group lies in its ability to switch quickly in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The atypical building has a very specific shape, i.e. a bow shape. Definitely worth taking a look!
