Project in the spotlights: Futurn

Commissioned by property developer Futurn, Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings is building the former Corelio site in Groot-Bijgaarden into a future-proof business campus. The building includes showrooms on the ground floor with stacked business units and a paddle court on the roof.

Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings is constructing Building K, a stacked multi-tenant business building with a driveway that comprises 18 business units, including ground-floor space for four customised business units for companies with specific needs and requirements.

With Building K, Futurn is laying the final piece in Westgate. It is the 11th stand-alone building to be erected on this business campus. Companies settling in Westgate will enter an entrepreneurial biotope with the presence of both multinationals and start-ups.

Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings is responsible for the closed shell construction, fully water- and windproof. During realisation, Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings takes care of most of the process. This includes groundwork by Willy Naessens Infra, the foundations and assembly. The joinery is provided by our own aluminium joinery Willy Naessens Alu and the roof sealing is provided by Mutec.

Top location at the gateway to Brussels

The location of the Westgate business campus is at the intersection of the R0, E19 and E40 motorways. The immediate vicinity of a slip road complex ensures easy and efficient connection.

Architect: KRAS architects
Total area to be developed: 3,950 m² of units on the ground floor, 2,200 m² of units on the first floor
