Project in the spotlights: Van Cauter
Van Cauter Multitechnieken, based in Lede, has been a well-established player in the sector for over 30 years. The company provides total solutions in electricity, HVAC, security systems, maintenance, construction, and energy management. Thanks to its broad expertise and in-house technicians, it delivers high-quality installations and maintenance solutions for companies, public authorities, and private clients.
Its strong growth and continuous expansion led to the need for a new central location bringing all activities together.
The client’s request: building for efficiency and growth
Van Cauter’s ambition was clear: a modern industrial building that optimizes current operations while being fully prepared for the future.
The building needed to:
- provide sufficient space for further growth
- be logistically efficient and practically organized
- focus on energy efficiency and sustainability
In addition, the company wanted to create a professional environment where both employees and clients can operate and be welcomed in optimal conditions.
For this project, Van Cauter was looking for a reliable and experienced construction partner offering a full-service approach. They found this partner in Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings.
Why choose Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings?
This choice was no coincidence. The combination of in-depth technical expertise and a no-nonsense approach gave the client full confidence in the project.
Key factors for Van Cauter:
- a strong reputation in industrial construction
- an integrated approach from design to execution
- guarantees in terms of quality and timing
- a practical, solution-oriented mindset
This approach was clearly reflected during execution. “The collaboration runs smoothly and constructively, with clear communication and proactive site follow-up,”says Jolien De Pauw, Managing Director of Van Cauter.
Our realization: a turnkey project from A to Z
For this project of approximately 2,500 m², Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings carried out a large part of the works entirely in-house.
Our scope included:
- foundation works as a solid base
- assembly of the complete concrete structure
- roofing, including skylights and smoke & heat extraction systems (RWA)
- internal drainage and leveling
- execution of compression layers, sloped concrete, and polished floors
- installation of gates and joinery
- construction of the entrance canopy
This integrated approach allows us to combine quality, speed, and efficiency — a hallmark of Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings.
Collaboration and design
The project was developed in close collaboration with KLIK Architectuur, responsible for the design and visual development of the building. This partnership resulted in a well-thought-out and functional architecture, perfectly aligned with the client’s needs.
A successful project with a view to the future
The new building of Van Cauter Multitechnieken is now a modern, efficient, and future-oriented base of operations. It brings all activities together under one roof and supports the company’s continued growth.
For Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings, this project once again demonstrates how we guide companies from vision to realization — with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
