Project in the spotlights: Belvas

Founded in 2005, Belvas is a Belgian producer of certified organic and Fairtrade chocolate, with an emphasis on fair cooperation between the North and the South.

Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings was chosen to build the new factory. Located in the Ghislenghien industrial zone, the new site has a developed area of 5,000 m², of which 600 m² will be provided for offices. There is also a production area of 4400 m².

This project reflects the vertical integration within the Group. The Willy Naessens Group is responsible for ground, environmental and sewerage works with Willy Naessens Infra, roofing works by Mutec and aluminium exterior joinery works by Willy Naessens Alu. Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings is responsible for the concrete structure, the exterior walls in concrete plinth and sandwich panels, the interior walls in sandwich panels, the floor slab, gates and levellers.
