To maximise employee comfort, large concrete canopies have been integrated to prevent overheating during the summer months. These canopies, finished in a clean white colour, give the building a recognisable identity and contribute to the transparency of the façade, enhancing the feeling of a green environment.
The glass throughout, installed by D-Glas, also counteracts overheating thanks to a high protective layer. On top of that, screens have been installed everywhere to keep the indoor climate pleasant.
A striking element of the building is the glass footbridge on the first floor. This connects the new building with the existing building, allowing employees to cross the public road to the industrial hall safely and without hindrance.
In addition, Willy Naessens Alu installed curtain walls between architectural balcony elements, giving the design a sleek, modern look.
Thanks to the expertise of Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings, an industrial construction method was applied that allows for an open plan. This allows the building to be arranged flexibly and adapted to future needs and requirements. This not only ensures optimum functionality in the short term, but also provides the opportunity for further growth and development in the long term.
