Project in the spotlight: Mutec
Mutec is taking a big step forward with the construction of new premises, which will include offices as well as a warehouse.
New building for Mutec
Mutec is taking a big step forward with the construction of a new commercial building, which will include offices as well as a warehouse. The impressive two-storey project will provide space on the ground floor for external tenants. The top floor will be set up as office space for Mutec itself.
Roof as experience garden
An underground car park will provide additional parking facilities, while the roof will be transformed into a unique experience garden. This green oasis will serve as a relaxation area for employees as well as a showroom for customers. The roof will be equipped with green zones, footpaths and an area for solar panels.
The choice for a multifunctional green roof is a logical step for Mutec. This roof combines the advantages of a climate roof with solar panels, a green roof with natural plants and a user roof where meetings and network meetings can take place. Rainwater is also collected and reused to water the green areas.
The new building also includes a spacious 2,275 m² storage hall, fully equipped with shelving for product storage. Furthermore, a separate area is provided for the safe storage of adhesives and solvents.
D'Akademie
The 1,100 m² mezzanine will have a crucial role. Here, a 200 m² space will be provided for technical training courses, organised by Mutec's own ‘D'Akademie’. This will be used to teach new employees the tricks of the trade.
Construction work started in early 2025 with a planned completion in February 2026.
With this new building, Mutec is not only committed to modernisation, but also to sustainability, innovation and a pleasant working environment for employees and customers.
